Teaching has become a strong passion of mine as my first year of Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor Arts degree starts to draw to a close. I enjoy the challenge of teaching and refining the skills of my students and the overwhelming reward that comes when they master new skills.

Ordinarily I schedule sessions for Tuesday and Friday afternoons/evenings, however times are negotiable upon consultation.

Tuition is available to years 7 – 12 in English, Drama, Entertainment, Theatre Studies, Business Studies, Reading, Computing, Web Design, Retail, Essay Writing, Study Skills and ESL.

I will work with students on the areas that they are having trouble with by approaching them from a different and refreshing angle than what may have been done in class. One on one tutoring allows more attention to be dedicated to the student’s individual learning styles and allows me to cater solely for them rather than a class of 30. Each tuition session will aim to meet various outcomes from the relevant NSW syllabus.

I have had experience working in public schools
I peer tutored students in literacy during high school
I was responsible for Work Placement students while I was Stage Manager for a musical

Qualifications
1st Year Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) / Bachelor Arts degree at University of Newcastle, Callaghan Campus.
