STUDENTS4STUDENTS - ALL SUBURBS, Melbourne
BACK TO SCHOOL HELP
WHO ARE WE?
Students4Students is an organisation of high achieving university students who
have completed their VCE in recent years with exceptional scores. We created the
organisation because of our desire to take the lessons, knowledge and secrets
we learned in our successful VCE years and pass them on to students going
through the same experience. With tutors who have recently finished school we
feel that we can relate on a personal level to students currently going through their
VCE and schooling years as well.
WHAT AGES DO YOU TEACH?
We teach primary school students, generally from grade 5 upwards. We teach all
secondary level students up to VCE year 12 level.
WHAT ABILITIES DO YOU CATER FOR?
All abilities. We try to achieve this by putting an emphasis on patience and
communication, rather than just technical jargon. This way, whatever level your
child is at, our approach to learning means that your child can reach their full
potential.
WE UNDERSTAND YOU
For many students VCE and school can be a trying, arduous task, and the burden
of expectation can be great. The strength of our tutors is that we know first-hand
the difficulties schooling life and our teaching methods are informed by this
knowledge. This is an aspect of Students4Students that very few other tutoring
services can offer.

Experience OUR TUTORS
The primary strength of Students4Students is that our tutors are students themselves. We
succeeded in precisely the same environment that secondary students are currently
travelling through today, and our experience in this environment has taught us valuable
lessons. Most other tutoring services cannot offer this key advantage.
Our tutors have all completed their VCE with exceptional scores in their respective subjects.
Since completing their secondary education, they have continued to enhance and refine their
skills in their relevant disciplines at university.
Additionally, as university students our tutors all have flexible hours. This means that
appointment times can be changed by the student with only a couple of days’ notice. Our
tutors travel to you. Be it at your home or other specified location (i.e. local library).
OUR TYPES OF TUTORS

ONE-on-ONE TUTORING:
Having a one-on-one tutor can provide an environment in which students feel
comfortable to ask any question, as opposed to the more confronting atmosphere
of the classroom. This accepting setting is compounded by the fact that
Students4Students tutors are young students themselves, and can relate to your
child on many more levels than an older tutor. This is highly conducive to your child
retaining more of the learning content.

GROUP SESSIONS
Students4Students also offers the opportunity for students to participate in group
tutoring sessions (2-3 students). This can be a useful and cost-effective way to
learn for students who are studying the same subject material and find it easier to
absorb information when they are in a small group.
Some students undoubtedly work more constructively in a group setting. Group
sessions can be arranged to take place at a specified location or the student’s
house if convenient.
