What I can offer potential students is a wide range of skills and experience. Having taught many diverse students allows me to focus on the import stuff ~ your study, no matter what you level, struggling to pass or an A-grade student wanting 99+ for VCE.

I am a former counsellor, so I am accustomed to working with people and I enjoy having the opportunity to pass on academic skills to improve your life.
My lessons are tailored to you, your level, your assessment criteria, your aspirations. I try to work within your academic curriculum and will suggested additional material only if I see you require it.

I work with high school students (through to VCE) to improve English, however, since I have majors in psychology and physiology, I can tutor students in these subjects concurrent to English tuition (Biology or Psychology in the case of VCE). For university students, I tutor statistics for psychologists, although as mentioned above, I can work on lab reports and essays, just as easily. I wish all a successful year.

Experience
I tutored initially during my science and honour degrees, generally Year 12 English and university students: psychology and statistics. Shortly after completing my honours degree
I began tutoring full-time.

My students have ranged academically from grade 5 to post-doctorate students and in age, my students ranged from 10 to 58 years. I have taught students of equally diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. My focus is on academic achievement, although experience with such a diverse range of students means I am aware, particularly in English and statistics, of the common errors experienced by students from a non-English background and those mature aged students returning to study, respectively.

Qualifications
BSc(hons); various certificates in health related areas (including HIV pre/post test counselling, venepuncture, biosafety, train the trainer and a range of counselling skills)
Currently, studying Masters of Applied Science in Statistics (part-time)
