Mrs Jasmin Rudolph (K - 6 Teacher) B.Ed, B.Tch. - Sydney, Sydney
By way of introduction my name is Mrs Jasmin Rudolph. Please consider the following as a summary presenting my background, education and experience..
I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelors Degree in Education and over 7 1/2 years teaching experience in the Primary Sector (K-6). During this time I have gained considerable knowledge in teaching and mentoring primary students of all ages and abilities, as well as liaising with the public, parents and the community.
In 2002 I received training through the Department of Education in the area of 'Gifted and Talented Training and Program Development'. In this time I also designed and implemented teaching modules (Stage 1 English and Mathematics) for Gifted and Talented students at a college specialising in Gifted Education whilst undertaking the role of 'Gifted and Talented Primary Network
Coordinator'.
During 2005 I foresaw the implementation of a Gifted and Talented Education Policy and I have also delivered seminars and presented on Gifted and Talented Education.
In 2006 I fulfilled the role of a K - 6 Gifted and Talented Co-ordinator at an Independent School. I developed Differentiated Curriculum Programs for enrichment and extension for grades K – 6 as well as individualised programs for students that required mentoring. The Enrichment opportunities were provided to students mainly through out-of-class work. Gifted students were also given the
opportunity to work on assignments similar to the class but changed by negotiation between student and teacher to allow the student to pursue his or her special interests in the topic.
I am currently on maternity leave for the remainder of 2008 until Term 1 2009. I am however, available to work on a part time basis (Saturday or Sunday) and/or work from home developing education modules and teaching via the internet for your child during the week and continue to do so throughout the year in 2009 and thereafter
Tuition is structured for 1 /1/2 hrs minimum and up to 2 hours depending upon the subjects being studied and the age of the student. Your child will initially be assessed in order for me to gain an overall understanding of their learning needs and then your child will be supplied with an Individualised Education Program each tutoring session as well as individualised homework to follow through with until the next tutoring session..
A discount rate of $30 per student per hour will be offered to a group of 3 or more students working on the same subject and grade level, GST will also be charged with the standard rate.
