Get-ahead classes for VCE: focus on specific context essays, novel studies and persuasive language. You will effortlessly become the best in the class and write sophisticated essays following my summaries and essay plans. Also complete my recently published workbook, "Language of persuasion: an essay-writing guide 2012" which is perfect preparation (and suitably varied and intensive) for the end of the year exam. Most students achieved Over 40s with 2 50s and 5 over 45.

Years 7-10 Summer classes: Variety of essay writing, persuasive language and Advanced Reading/novel-writing classes.

Scholarship classes for Years 5, 6 and 7: focus on essay writing (persuasive and creative), thinking skills; vocabulary extension, analysis and comprehension.

Also tuition for specialist exams such as GAMSAT: focus on sophisticated essay writing for persuasive and personal/reflective essays.

Special summer rates only: Classes (3 students): $40 per hour per student. (2 students: $55 per student)
Private sessions for VCE and IB: $90 per hour.
A variety of times are available throughout the week and weekends.

German classes: Take a 6-week intensive course in German Grammar and get the best possible grounding. Textbook: Schaum's German Grammar

I have published several textbooks for English that have been booklisted and used in schools both in Victoria and other states. These include books on persuasive writing, (with suggested responses), essay-writing and "clear writing and grammar" that follows the specifications in the National Curriculum. You will receive my VCE essay-writing booklet for language analysis with sample articles and suggested responses as well as summaries and model essays for all novels and themes.
My students who respond well to guidance and complete numerous practice essays have consistently achieved high marks.
