I studied Japanese language at the Australian National University in Canberra and received my bachelor degree in Asian Studies in 2003 following my exchange to Tokyo where I studied at Waseda university.
I have been teaching Japanese for over 10 years both privately and in secondary schools, helping a variety of students gain outstanding results for exams and become proficient in conversational Japanese.
My Japanese lessons are for those wishing to excel at school - whether for the HSC or at university - and for those who wish to learn for leisure.

Experience
I have tutored a number students in Japanese from primary school level up to university. I have guided students through their HSC where they have all achieved outstanding results. Beginners have also achieved a high level of fluency through my lessons. In addition, I have taught Japanese in secondary schools so I know what the standards and expectations are for students studying from year 7 up to year 12 and beyond.

Qualifications
I have completed the Bachelor of Asian Studies (Japanese) from The Australian National University, Canberra and have also studied a teaching diploma of secondary education at The Australian Catholic University in Canberra.
I have studied and worked with the teaching style of Ros Thrift from the International School of Music and also have qualifications with strong results in AMEB and ANZCA piano examinations as well as theory of music.
