Mr Kieran Hennessy - Kingsford, Sydney

Hi, I'm Kieran, and I've been doing tutoring on and off for almost four years now, having tutored primary school maths and English skills, a range of HSC subjects (from general to extension levels) and a few casual sessions teaching university students in essay writing, commerce and, having studied Spanish for 3 years, beginners Spanish. English, creative writing and essay writing are my specialties, being an accomplished creative writer with the Sydney Morning Herald at one point and several university and national writing competitions. Business is another strength of mine, as well as interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking (both for audiences and general conversation) and confidence training.

I am currently an undergraduate at the University of New South Wales studying International Commerce with fresh experience with the HSC, having achieved an ATAR of 98.15, so 2011 and 2012 HSC students are very welcome. I've always been in mentoring and top leadership positions through my schooling life, as well as having undertaken many community endeavours in my years, such as personal work with youths and disabled students, surf life saving, team sports and active involvement in several clubs and societies, such as the UNSW Surfing Club, in which as vice-president I teach people to surf, and several dance groups and crews. Urban, street jazz and hip-hop tutoring and training is also available from me.

I prefer to hold my tutorial sessions on campus at UNSW, Kensington, and to initially have a casual, relaxed meet & greet so as to become comfortable with one another and to ascertain your needs and wants face-to-face. I may do home visits for an additional cost. The tutorials are flexible and will be adapted to your requirements. I always encourage people to take opportunities to excel themselves and bring out their highest personal potential. It's a fantastic thing to wish to do, and I hope to be able to help you to achieve this.
