Learn another lingo, Mrs T Rees - Bonogin, Gold Coast

Tutoring: I offer German, Japanese, Mandarin and English as a Second Language to school age students who are struggling with this language at school or those who want to start to learn another language.

Students: I offer IB German Ab Initio/Standard and Higher tuition. I also offer exam tutoring for students faced with examinations in German, Japanese and Mandarin.

Adults: I offer German, Japanese, Mandarin and English as a Second Language to adults who wish to learn another language or for those who may wish to pick up where they stopped years ago.

Business: I offer German, Japanese and Mandarin for business purposes.

Conversational classes: I offer German, Japanese, Mandarin and English for groups of people who wish to practise the spoken element of their desired language.

Hours: Monday - Friday: 4pm to 8pm Saturday & Sunday 8.30 am - 2pm (Additional hours are available through tutor consultation)

All lessons are based on one hour lessons. Lessons are structured to suite the needs of the student.

Resources: For students studying for particular exams, then the tutor will use the course followed by the student. For others wishing to learn a language from scratch then resources will be shown in consultation with the tutor. As we are a society based on technology a lot of internet resources will also be provided for additional at home self study by the student.

Experience
I am a LOTE teacher who is also bilingual German/English. For the past 6 years I have had extensive experience at teaching German, Japanese and Mandarin at schools in the UK. Over the years I have tutored students ranging from primary age through to adults. In addition to teaching examination classes I have also taught the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for German Standard and Higher for 4 years.

Post Graduate Certificate of Education Secondary Modern Foreign Languages
Certificate to Teach English as a Second or Other Language (TESOL)
Qualified LOTE Teacher registered with the QTC
