Singing lessons are individually tailored to suit your vocal range from a private studio in Kent St Sydney, singing lessons can be conducted one-on-one or in a group.

I provide intensive training throughout your vocal and personal development, working together with you to provide all you need for a professional career.

You are welcome to bring a friend or family member to your lesson to participate at no extra cost.

Choose from over 2000 songs in a variety of languages such as English, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Spanish and French or bring your own song to learn. All sound equipment has key control capability, allowing you to alter the pitch of the song.

Workshops and private lessons are available for other artistic subjects at the studio, be trained by reputable teachers in guitar, piano, television and dance.

Lessons are flexible and you can have them as often or as little as you like - convenient for students who have ever-changing schedules and work loads or financial obligations.

I have produced a mini manual self education system which I use with my students, this could be another option for you if distance is a problem.

Qualifications
Lyn Kirk is a recording artist, entertainer, author and professional vocal tutor using many techniques including Bel Canto.

Lyn has trained extensively since entering the music industry in 1976, having studied under renowned artists including internationally recognised opera singer John Davies, actor and vocalist Dr Ronald Arthur Beck Jr, and other skilled mentors at the Conservatorium of Music in Sydney. Lyn has performed live as both a lead singer and backing vocalist with numerous bands including Canned Heat, Orange Claw Hammer and R & B band Soulidarity. Her voice was recorded for Nicole Kidman's blockbuster film "Moulin Rouge" at Fox Studios in Sydney.

Her stage experience includes working as a vocalist and actress in the Rockdale Opera Company's production "Showboat" and as vocalist and stage manager for the City of Sydney Vocal Ensemble 5th Annual Gala Recital.

Lyn has appeared on television and radio including Good Morning Australia, Sydney radio 2UE and various radio stations in Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Victoria. In 1984 she appeared in Meatloaf's video clip for "Surf's Up". In September 2003, she was featured in an exclusive 3 page article in the Chinese magazine "Women's Friend".

She has extensive experience as an entertainment co-ordinator for various nightclubs, working as an MC and karaoke hostess, and was a proud guest at the 1995 People's Choice Awards and 2000 Aria Music Awards.

Currently Lyn plays a role as executive producer in a series of Australian Television productions.

Lyn has gained a reputation for uncompromising accuracy and artistic integrity in her teaching and performances. Many of her students have progressed to perform locally and internationally, and she is in high demand for her entertaining and professional skills.
