The focus will be on planning and writing essays for humanities and social science subjects at both
secondary and tertiary level.

This will involve interacting with students regarding the subject (i.e. text or question) in order to
develop their ideas and plan how they will approach their assessment task. Guidance will be offered
regarding structure, grammar and tone.

My service is available online or in person.

Experience
I have tutored many students during crucial times of their educational experience including students for whom
English is a second language. In the context of tutoring young adults, it is important to pitch ideas at a level that will
be understood so that one problem, being easily distracted by 'boring' work will be minimised.

Qualifications
BA (Hons.) in English & Sociology
Currently completing a PhD in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Sydney
