Mr Oliver Lee - Acton, Canberra
Hi, I'm currently in my second year at the ANU studying a Bachelor of Engineering
(Research & Development). I achieved High Distinction average in university
classes in 2011.
I have always had a passion for science and maths and particularly enjoy their
real-life applications.
I finished high school in 2009 and spent a gap year working as a research
assistant at Edinburgh University, travelling in Europe and doing volunteer work in
Vanuatu.
I have a balance lifestyle and play a lot of music and sport. This will help to
contribute towards a more relaxed tutoring style that focuses on deeper learning,
and problem solving strategies (to develop an appreciation and understanding of
the topics), rather than learning only what is required to pass the exams.
I am available most weekdays after 4pm and can fit in tutoring sessions throughout
the weekend as well.
I prefer to offer consistent weekly tutoring sessions but will be happy also to do
intense study sessions through the school holidays.
Tutoring is offered from my hall of residence on the ANU campus in Acton. There
is access to study/tutorial rooms which I use for tutoring sessions.
DUE TO HIGH DEMAND, AT THE MOMENT I AM NOT OFFERING TUTORING TO NEW
STUDENTS. I will advise if my timetable allows time for more tutoring.
Experience I have tutored students in English, Maths, Physics and Chemistry from primary through to HSC
level. I am currently tutoring students in ACT Methods, Specialist and Double Specialist Maths,
Physics, Chemistry, and English.
Qualifications Graduated Glenaeon Rudolf Steiner School in 2009 with an ATAR of 99.00
