I am a mature and experienced professional; a family man with children who is experienced in teaching and knowledge transfer in academia, industry, community organisations and tertiary education. I have a PhD in Philosophy, specialising in semiotics, empathy and the environment, a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) and an BA (First Class Honours) in Philosophy.

I am employed as a Sessional Tutor at my university, and work in my own consulting and IT business. I am researching innovations for environmental care, the benefits of mindfulness and non attachment, as well as the use of virtual reality to support people on the autism spectrum.

I have a current Working With Children check for both voluntary and paid work.

I have professional and personal experience in many cultures and a kind and patient manner. My main interest in tutoring is to see students succeed in their endeavours and to supplement my income as I continue my research and develop various projects that relate to the importance of empathy in society.

My availability is flexible and I ensure that we agree to attainable learning outcomes and a compatible approach to our tutoring sessions before we begin. I have been busy with other projects but I am now returning to tutoring for a limited time. Please contact me as soon as possible as I expect my availability to be filled quickly.

Thank you for reading!
