Mrs Stephanie Layton

Sydney Tutor

Mrs Stephanie Layton - Collaroy Plateau, Sydney

Mrs Stephanie Layton Are you looking for an experienced understanding and supportive qualified
primary/Secondary teacher? My focus is upon building confidence and self-
esteem in a supportive environment. The excitement for learning that children
have, must be facilitated and promoted. I believe that each child is special and
unique, each has different strengths and weaknesses, as well as different
learning styles. Individual needs must be catered for through personalised
programmes and specially designed enrichment programmes. Every child, should
be encouraged to strive for their very best. I believe that the parent must be
informed at all times of what the areas of need are and what is to be addressed.

Sometimes due to illness or certain circumstances, you may have the need for
your child to have extra professional support within their own classroom or even
at home.

Tutoring is therefore available MONDAY TO FRIDAY DURING SCHOOL
HOURS (at school if necessary or at my home)

I am willing to liaise with your child's classroom teacher if required, to provide support with what is being taught
within classroom.

AFTER SCHOOL HOURS:
I am also available for tutoring after school :
MONDAY to Friday 4pm onwards
All materials will be provided.

Tutoring is available in all areas of PRIMARY, with particular focus on :
NAPLAN readiness for years 3,5,7 & 9.
MATHEMATICS & ENGLISH.

SECONDARY MATHEMATICS tutoring is also available for students UP TO YEAR 9.

I look forward to meeting with you in order to discuss further the skills and
qualities that I can offer you and your child.

I have had overseas experience in the United Kingdom where I have gained
valuable teaching experience both in the public and private system (Dulwich
College) in London. Prior to this I had been teaching for seven years at a Christian
school (SCECGS REDLANDS). I have been associated with and accommodated to,
changes in Curriculum, based on requirements by statutory authorities and
requirements of international recognised models. Over the past year, I have been
very influential in the changes needed to update scope and sequences, content
overviews and units of work in most of the KLAs in order to pass our inspection
by the Board of Studies. I believe I hold a strong understanding of the current NSW
syllabus for all Key Learning Areas.
