My Name is Tiffany Newman. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in which I majored in Literature and History, and sub majored in politics. I am currently studying a Masters in Teaching at Deakin University. I specialize in tutoring Highschool VCE students in English and History, and also years 7-10 English. I am committed and passionate when it comes to teaching today's youth. I not only tutor, but motivate my students to be the very best they can. I find that all of my students can relate to me because I am still within the age bracket of 18-25, and are more likely to respond to my suggestions. I truly believe that working with children and seeing their progress is the most rewarding feeling.

High school VCE students-
Years 11 and 12 are a very stressful time on young adults. Tutoring sessions
can help manage the stress of SAC's and Exams, and give students the confidence to perform well.
Sessions mostly consists of revision, discussion of texts, key themes and ideas, and quite often finishing homework.

I intend to make the tutoring sessions as fun for the student as possible so that
learning becomes interesting and exciting. The efforts for the child will be praised
during each lesson. It is important I get along with my students and develop a mutual respect.
