Ms Veronica Moore - Dunlop, Canberra
Veronica Moore. BMus Ed., MMusPS. Currently working as a primary school music specialist in Canberra. Tuition available for Saxophone, Clarinet, Music Theory and Musicianship.
I love the versatility of the saxophone. I teach mainly from a classical perspective, but am always happy to incorporate various styles of music and tailor lessons to suit individual needs and goals. I aim to instill an appreciation of music, a love of playing, an understanding of how to practise and to help you develop the skills and knowledge to go further!
I teach from home (Dunlop, ACT), available Friday-Monday. I provide all students with a music diary, advise on sheet music and equipment purchases and can arrange AMEB examinations. Contact 0418 760 026 or veron_ica83@yahoo.com.au.
Experience Originally from Perth, I graduated from the the School of Music, at the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Music Education, qualifying as a music specialist (primary school, secondary school and instrumental teaching). Throughout university training I taught saxophone privately and completed a professional teaching practice of clarinet and saxophone at several primary and secondary state schools.
Since that time I have continued to teach saxophone privately, in addition to conducting various primary school choirs, the Woden Valley Youth Choir, and taught music in primary schools in Queensland and Canberra. I completed a Masters in Music Practitioner Studies, with my thesis on singing and spiritual identity. I am extending my own saxophone skills through lessons from a leading teacher at the Sydney Conservatorium as I work towards a Certificate of Performance and Associate Diploma of Music Performance from the AMEB.
I have a tremendous love of music and the saxophone and always look forward to sharing its brilliance with others.
