I am a friendly, highly experienced English as Second Language teacher and tutor. For the past 7 years, I have taught ESL, English to High School students at a private school on the Gold Coast. I have excellent qualifications -a Bachelor of Arts, a post -graduate teaching diploma, a post-graduate Cambridge CELTA certificate. I have taught EAP, General English, Cambridge First Certificate, IELTS preparation -both Academic and General and High School Preparation classes for teenagers and adults. I am very experienced in IELTS examination preparation, especially Speaking and Writing. I am also able to edit any manuscript. I am registered with the Queensland College of Teachers and hold a Blue Card. I have a current Queensland Police Clearance certificate (Oct 2011). I hold a NT Ochre -Working with Children card. I have a solid knowledge of all areas of Speaking, Reading, Writing, Listening as well as an in- depth knowledge of the requirements of the Queensland Core Skills Test, NAPLAN examinations and general syllabus requirements in Queensland. My lessons are 120 minutes long and I have over 15 years experience with thousands of satisfied students, many of whom I am still in contact with. I am also able to help with correction of research assignments. I will come to you and deliver excellent service.
