Experience
During the time from 1996 to 2005 while I was studying in universities both in Hefei and Shanghai, China, I tutored over ten people, mainly in the subject of English. Among them were middle school students, high school students, a university teacher and business men and women, from teenagers to mid-age adults. These jobs needed responsibility, good community skills, good understanding of clients' needs and care.

I have also tutored Mandarin in both Canberra and Shanghai for two and half years including one-to-one private tuition and group tuition. My clients were from diverse cultural background such as English speakers, French speakers and German speakers.

Qualifications
I hold the Standard Mandarin Pronunciation Certificate 2A, which is a must for teaching Chinese to non-Chinese speakers in China.

I recently completed a PhD in modern Chinese history. Besides qualifications in Mandarin pronunciation and the language itself, I have a deep understanding of Chinese culture.
