To help struggling readers, spellers &/or writers, I use Sounds-Write phonics, decodable readers, dictation, and/or sentence/paragraph building during our 1:1 online teacher calls but also happily address all other areas of learning, as needed. Just let me know ?

I use the marvellous Koala Go platform for tutoring which is a hot favourite with kids of all ages. Your child will love it!

In addition to pay-as-you-go 1:1 online tutoring, I also offer a novel cognitive homework program for faster results!

Cognitive Homework students will receive daily access to their own teacher-monitored, clinical-strength cognitive homework program that helps with memory & thinking skills in all subjects. It's called Fast ForWord® and it enables fun, individualised practice of phonics, reading, grammar, spelling, memory, attention, speed, accuracy & fluency skills.

It’s easy to complete the homework wherever you have Wi-Fi — 30-, 60-, or 90-minutes a day / 3 to 5 days per week.

I offer my 1:1 tutoring during school terms and/or over the school holidays. Book your weekly spot (for continuous learning development) or book a one-off tutoring session where I can help boost your child's understanding of the alphabet code/phonics in a personalised and memorable way.

I'm a Primary Teacher.

I've been teaching and tutoring Primary Level Literacy and Numeracy for over 10 years, working in schools, private homes and with young actors in the television industry.

I have been teaching the Sounds-Write Phonics method for reading and spelling, for several years.

I'm also a fully-trained, Accredited Provider of Fast ForWord throughout Australia. Over the past several years, I've worked with hundreds of students (of all ages), customising and supporting their brain-based learning journeys.

My tutoring business is called Code Word Brain. I run it independently and offer personalised service (I am the sole tutor).

Rates reflect a 15-minute teacher preparation time in addition to advertised lesson durations.
▪️ 30-minute WEEKLY lesson: $50 each WEEKLY LOYALTY RATE ($60 casual)
▪️ 45-minute WEEKLY lesson: $75 WEEKLY LOYALTY RATE ($90 casual)
▪️ 60-minute WEEKLY lesson: $100 WEEKLY LOYALTY RATE ($120 casual)

(1st lesson is charged at Casual Rate upfront - Loyalty rate is then offered if lessons are booked at least weekly. If a week is skipped, complete 3 lessons within 3-weeks on the Casual Rate to requalify for Loyalty Rate.)
