If you need some help with Anatomy and Physiology, ask away too.

What makes me a suitable tutor?
* 1) Experience: I have 4 years of tutoring students ranging from primary to high school in the subjects listed. My students came from both selective and non-selective schools with different starting levels. So I have developed different approaches for each of these students; with an aim to maximise academic outcome.

2) Background: having graduated from James Ruse Agricultural High School with an ATAR of 99.00. I achieved this via band 6s in all the subjects listed, which is good indication the depth of my knowledge. Also, being a recent high school graduate (2015), I have the most up-to-date syllabus that ensures my students do not miss out anything while they study. I am currently studying Physiotherapy at Sydney University, so I can help out with fundamental courses such as anatomy and physiology.

3) Teaching style: I aim to achieve ACTIVE LEARNING. For my years in high school, I have seen so much bad "teaching" that is not what teaching is supposed to be like at all. I believe that to truly understand anything, you need to be able to explain it OUTLOUD in simple terms. So my lessons consist of active conversations, drawing diagrams (many of us are visual learners) and asking YOU questions.

Anything that follows this is secondary, which is ironically placed as primary by those who failed to teach i.e. steps to consolidate your knowledge by practice. These include homework, practice exam questions and readings. Despite me considering them as secondary, but it is very important to remember and demonstrate your knowledge in exams. So I have worked 4 years compiling my OWN materials (unlike many tutors who just uses your material or a big book); consisted of homework and theory booklets. I will mark them in my own time and give feedback in upcoming lessons.

What is the best way to get started? Best way to contact me is by phone number listed. First lesson is half prized, you can withdraw if you do not find it suitable. I am willing to travel to your place, although I prefer meeting in nearby libraries or cafes. Lesson time is flexible.
