Sydney tutor in ESL, IELTS, Mandarin

I am a non-native fluent Mandarin speaker. I have 6 years' experience teaching high school Mandarin at one of Sydney's leading independent girls schools, where more than 50% of my students achieved a Band 6 in the HSC Chinese Continuers course. I started learning Mandarin in first year university and I have gone on to become a nationally accredited translator, Chinese teacher and owner of a boutique Chinese translation company. I know what it takes to learn Mandarin as a non-native speaker and I'm able to share my tips and insights with those who are serious about becoming proficient in Chinese. I also have extensive experience teaching and tutoring ESL English and Chinese-English translation. My tutoring sessions are structured, goal-oriented and maximise conversation practice for students.

Lessons times: Weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends. Location: UTS Library, online or as negotiated with student.
