Matching Students and Tutors

Mathematics must be learned in steps in their correct order. If a student misses a step, due to illness, change of school, or poor teaching, then learning stops at that point. My specialty is in finding out which ideas the student has missed then filling in these background gaps as quickly as possible. Good teaching consists of knowing which methods works best for each topic and how best to correct mistakes. There are some students who benefit from regular help, but for most, tutoring should be a short-term project.

As a professional mathematics teacher, I am knowledgeable about HSC mathematics syllabus and HSC marking criteria. Having working in this area for years, I have been helping with my students to fix their learning problems so that their mathematics potential is maximized, especially in HSC.
