I have over 12 years experience tutoring students with previous experience working as a lecturer and tutor at Victoria University (2012-2018) and University of Melbourne (2018) respectively, and in private tuition (2007-current). I have ample experience with one on one tutoring and specialise at 'at risk' students (those that are falling behind or struggling with content/learning) and at pushing top students to get into the the high 90%'s. All of my GAMSAT students who have stuck to my strategies have achieved their goals of achieving scores above 60, with dedicated students achieving well into the 70's. All my students who I have trained for medical interviews have been offered places!
My style of tutoring is all encompassing; I believe to perform at your best you need to consider all aspects of study, from time management, to resources, to goal setting and planning (especially for GAMSAT and UCAT), to content learning. Of course, if you have these prior ones down; we can concentrate on just the content. Our sessions are 100% customised to each students needs. Once we start tutoring, I provide a 7 day a week support service as well, so any questions or problems you come up against outside of our sessions, I'm there to help.

I have been teaching and tutoring now for close to 6 years from primary school students all the way up to university and PhD students, mainly in the fields of biological and physical sciences. I love helping people learn because seeing that light bulb moment when a student understands a difficult concept or when we reach a goal together is invaluable to me.
I accept group bookings with a small increase in my hourly rate per person, so, the more you have the cheaper per person it becomes!
My availability varies but we can organise a time to suit and I can tutor at your home (dependent on your location with an additional fee), at a mutually beneficial location or over Skype.
My lessons will be structured around your requirements and your level of skill. I have a vast amount of resources that I can use with you, or we can use your material to work through. If you are a university student, I have huge range of lectures notes and tutorial materials that I have delivered in the past, and for students that are of primary and secondary level, I also specialise in creating fun and engaging lessons that use activities to help you learn! No more rote-learning or writing copious amounts of boring material. I pride myself in finding out how you learn, and tailoring our lessons to you, so you learn faster!
I am currently completing my docterate of medicine (MD) with Deakin university whilst concurrently completing my PhD in Medical Research (Paediatric Oncology) with Vic Uni, Melb Uni and the Australian institute for musculoskeletal science; investigating how chemotherapy can be improved with novel peptides in order to better treat childhood cancer and improve the survival rates and quality of life of childhood patients.
