Math workshop：The workshop is focused on exam skills to help improve your final exam scores. It is designed to help students excel in the following areas:
1.Grabbing as many marks as you can, to maximise your score.
2.Using your 5 minutes of reading time effectively.
3.Understanding exam key words and the marking scheme.
4.Minimising common errors.
5.Making the greatest use of your calculator.
I will provide an overview and summarise the key concepts, formulae and methods, which will be used in the exam, by providing the following materials in the workshop:
1.Summary notes for each topic.
2.Exam preparation guide books.
3.The latest exam papers.
During the workshop, I will teach students how to tackle IB questions effectively, using the following techniques:1.Manage and plan your time before and during the exam.
2.Choose the question you want to start on.
3.Read the question, marking key words and values.
4.Identify the test topics and concepts.
5.Learn the steps to solve questions with awareness of how marks will be awarded.
6.Prepare to handle unknown or difficult parts in the exam.
Counseling/Seminar: I offer the following services:
--Helping students and parents with their study issues, subject selections, and school choice. --Running seminars and training programs for organisations to help their employees to improve self-study skills.
--Running seminars of "How to MASTER Your Study?" which introduce a new methodology about effective learning.
Results: All my students got improved in some ways and achieved the score they desired. Some IB students got the full IB mark of 45 (ATAR 99.95) and 70% of them got more than 40 (ATAR 98).
--My daughter achieved full mark 45 (ATAR 99.95). Band 7 on Math HL. Your help on her achievement is highly appreciated.
--My son got 7 in Maths (higher level), total 43 out of 45 (ATAR 99.75). Thanks a lot for your coaching.
