My name is Mark Theodossiou, pronounced (Theo-dos-seeyou) and as an Acting & ESL Coach, I am currently completing a Masters of Research at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ). My coaching in-person & online combines professional performance techniques with language acquisition to help ESL students, professionals, and IELTS/PTE candidates achieve true fluency and self-confidence.

My methodology also draws on drama-based pedagogy, proven to lower communication anxiety, unblock expressive clarity, and restore natural speaking confidence in adult learners (Kolekar, 2020).

What We Cover:
Pronunciation & Accent Coaching: Master vocal dynamics, articulation, and presence using stage/screen techniques.

Exam & Interview Prep: Overcome high-stakes nerves for IELTS/PTE speaking tests and job interviews.

Social Confidence: Learn natural sentence flow and conversational ease through active script reading and roleplay exercises.

How will my lesson be structured?

Warm-Up (10 mins): Vocal exercises for articulation and projection, using fun tongue twister exercises &/or theatre sports.

Core Performance (35 mins): Working through real-world scenarios, scripts, &/or specific exam prompts that the student wants to focus on from their task sheet.

Feedback & Action Plan (15 mins): Practical tweaks and customised notes to practice before the next session, &/or students can record their session for further revision.

Availability & Location:

Flexible Hours: Afternoons, evenings, and weekend slots available by appointment.

Location: Online (via Zoom) or In-Person at our Seven Hills Hub studio. Please allow 24hrs minimum for all studio bookings.
