A strong systematic phonic based reading and spelling program for all ages. Formal grammar tuition including sentence structure, punctuation and parts of speech. My aim is to ensure your child becomes a competent speller and independent reader.Children will also receive lessons on the structure of various essays including Narratives, Persuasive and informative essays.Becoming a competent essay writer is essential as they transit into secondary school.

I work from my well-equipped office using a whiteboard and worksheets. Students will be writing and collecting all worksheets in a folder so they have an immediate point of reference when required. Parents can also see what work has been covered and their child's progress. I also tutor during school holidays.

My office has its own entrance and students are free from any distractions .

Experience

I have been tutoring for 8 years with remarkable success. I gain so much satisfaction
in seeing children and adults improve in all areas of English. Of course witnessing their
improved confidence is extremely rewarding.

Qualifications

Qualified primary school teacher in classroom for 10years. I also increased my teaching qualifications by studying and becoming a registered Quantum Literacy Tutor.
Quantum Literacy tutors are highly skilled in teaching spelling and reading through a
phonics-based approach.
