The Tutoring Company is Australia-based specialist provider of home-based and online tutors. Our home-based and online (Australia wide) tutoring sessions allow students to feel confident and comfortable in their own home, helping them to focus and to build positive study skills without the distraction of a large classroom, or other peers.

All tutors have either teacher registration or Working With Children Checks and are highly experienced and passionate about teaching students. All tutors are either education undergraduates or qualified teachers, making them specialists in their area.

What makes us different? We understand that finding the right tutor is more than just matching you to someone in your area. We will answer your call and make you feel at ease immediately, listening with compassion and understanding of how challenging it can be to grasp why your child is experiencing difficulties at school. Matching a student with the right tutor is vital as not every tutor is right for every student! Year 11/12 students wishing to maximise their score require specialist tutors with an in-depth understanding of the curriculum. This means more than just having done well in public exams personally.

Services

- Our tutors specialise in delivering individualised, private instruction through our state-of-the-art, collaborative online platform (which is not zoom or skype). Anything you would like to do face-to-face, you can do it in your private online classroom. Secondary students can revise for tests and exams, learn new topics and stay ahead or get assistance with homework. Work online in a room that most closely resembles face-to-face tutoring.

- You and your tutor can work on any school set task by uploading all documents into your private classroom. Free lesson recording and file storage so you can review your lesson anytime!

- Lessons are either home-based or online, saving you the hassle of drop-off and pick-up from tutoring centres.
- All tutoring is private and one-on-one.

Experience

After careful consideration and consultation, we choose what we feel is the
most suitable tutor for the student. In doing this, we believe that we can 'maximise the
potential' for the student and allow them to achieve their best results. All tutors have a minimum of 1 year tutoring experience and have a WWCC or teacher registration.

Qualifications

All our tutors are highly experienced, passionate and are:

-Fully qualified teachers that have a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum; or

-Teaching Undergraduates that have been highly trained and have gained extensive knowledge of the Australian Curriculum; or

-University Undergraduates that are currently studying and specialising in Maths/English/Physics/Biology/Chemistry. Plus, their HSC/VCE results scores are exceptional.

Rates

Rates start at $65 per hour.
