I am an accredited Cracking the ABC Code literacy teacher with university qualifications in education. I have years teaching experience and I am particularly focused on working with students with literacy difficulties, including those with diagnosed dyslexia.

I provide a COMPREHENSIVE LITERACY assessment prior to establishing an individual, structured, phonic based, multi-sensory program that addresses each student's specific needs and areas of weakness.

Programs run for 12 to 30 weeks and re-testing shows that most students make significant improvements in their literacy skills. Students and their parents meet with me once a week for 1 hour and are then expected to complete a structured, follow-up homework program to ensure the information taught is stored in long-term memory.

My goal is to significantly improve students' literacy skills in a short time frame by providing them with the underlying knowledge and skills required to be competent readers, spellers and writers.
