Online video tuition for students via Zoom. Don't like online teaching? My online experience is different to what you may have had at school and my students have told me they feel the same. I have purchased professional equipment including a drawing tablet for a highly immersive experience. Previous students have preferred this over in-person sessions as it saves them precious travel time during their schooling and HSC and allows for the same learning as in-person offers. Why not give it a try?

Currently, I am offering personalised tutoring for students from Years 1 to 10 in Mathematics and Science and in Chemistry for students in Years 11 and 12.

So, who will be your tutor? My name is George and I graduated from Edmund Rice College with an ATAR of 93.55 in 2019. I am currently undertaking study for the Bachelor of Pre-Medicine, Science and Health at the University of Wollongong.

Why? Because I truly have a passion and love for people, teaching and the intricacies of human nature and conversation. In all honesty, I believe that hard work is far more valuable than any genetic intelligence. Thus, I would like to share my knowledge of working not just hard, but smart, to help younger students achieve high academic results while balancing their extracurriculars as well.

I have tutored, instructed and marked papers for a multitude of students from the early years of primary school up to Year 12 in high school with mathematics via a private tuition company for approximately 1 year. Additionally, I have volunteered to assist students at an after-school homework club to assist them with all their subjects and to provide them with specific study advice for 2 years. Currently, I run a self-made small private tutoring business where I tutor High School students in Mathematics and Science (predominantly Yr 11 and 12 Chemistry) and Primary School students in English, Science and Mathematics. Additionally, I work for a nationally known online company as an online Mathematics and Chemistry Tutor for students from Year 2 – 12 amidst the restrictions of the Coronavirus pandemic in Australia with approval for tutoring students with ADHD, anxiety, depression, dyslexia and dyscalculia. As of August 2020, I tutor over 18 students per week. Further, I am a Focus Review Lead Tutor. This means I conduct detailed reviews and provide extensive feedback for new tutors on their initial private and/or group sessions alongside conducting remedial reviews.

If you are a student that is struggling with school work or just wants to get ahead of the school syllabus, I feel that this is the best tutoring option for you as I will focus on your individual needs and every lesson will be based on solely what you need assistance with, completely tailored for YOU!

I will provide my own comprehensive resources from detailed subject notes to past assignments in which I received high marks to assist students' learning needs. It would be great to use both my resources and those which you have been provided in school to have the most effective tutoring sessions. I believe that without proper fundamentals in any subject, learning further information is just not worth the time!

Furthermore, if the student wishes to contact me with specific questions and/or study advice, they can contact me via email/SMS prior to their tutoring lesson so that I may prepare the best answers for them during the actual session.

In terms of the fees, it is $25 for the very first hour of tuition (trial session) and $30/hr (primary [yr 1-6]) or $40/hr (secondary [yr 7-12]) for each following lesson/hour.

I am cleared to work with children - my Working With Children Check (WWCC) details are available on request.

You are able to contact me at any time and I will get back to you as soon as possible via SMS/mobile call on 0413960387 or email at georgep0301@gmail.com
All the best in your studies, George

Character references:
'George is the hardest working person, academically, that I have ever met.
He will research, study and read until he understands a topic or concept completely. His success reflects nothing but his hard work completely. George has also got a gifted ability to teach anyone, anything. If he knows the answer he will sit with you until you understand it yourself. But will then go one step further to test you on what he is teaching you so that you walk away with complete satisfaction and confidence that you fully comprehend the topic. I would recommend George to anyone looking for a serious tutor who has the ability to get others to high levels of academic success in any and all subjects that they choose. Don’t think twice! George is the person to go with for excellent tutoring.'
