I am available Monday to Friday and can be contacted via email to arrange a suitable time. - Lessons are online via Zoom.
- A computer or iPad is necessary.
- Lessons are individually tailored to the needs of the student.
- Students from those soon to start Prep to those in Year 9 are catered for.
- I particularly specialise in beginning and developing reading, spelling, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
- Maths to Year 9 level.
- I have experience in classroom teaching in most year levels, including High School, but particularly Prep and in Learning Support.
- I have experience tutoring students in English as a second language.
- A relaxed, friendly atmosphere is promoted to encourage enthusiasm in learning.
- I have full teacher registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
- I love working individually with students and can help them to learn and improve.

Experience

I have tutored students in their homes and online in English and English as a second language. This has included beginning reading, spelling and pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension development and some maths and geography. There has also been help and guidance with school work and working towards achieving curriculum standards. Positive and rapid results have been achieved.
I am also an experienced teacher having taught in both primary and high school, particularly in Prep. I also have teaching experience in learning support and special needs.
Recently I have begun tutoring online and have found it to be efficient, practical and quite easy to do. I love that you can still maintain a positive and friendly atmosphere.
I am a friendly and encouraging person who aims to help students to understand the fundamentals of English and Maths. I aim to help students improve on their current knowledge and equip them with skills to maximise their success in the learning that occurs at school.

Bachelor of Education; Diploma in Teaching (Infants/Primary); Certificate II in I.T.
