I am currently in my third year of studying a double degree majoring in Chemistry and Visual arts, with a minor in Archaeology at the University of Wollongong.

I have close to three years of experience in tutoring and mentoring high school students since I completed my HSC in 2014. I guide each student to learn how to critically evaluate their past performances as well as to challenge their capability so that they will reach new plateaus of knowledge. I always leave my students feeling empowered, self-motivated, and content that they did the very best that they could.

I am offering tuition in the following:
- Year 7-10 Mathematics
- Year 7-10 Science
- Visual Arts

HSC and Preliminary:
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Mathematics (General and Advanced)
- Visual Art Theory

University (as per University of Wollongong subjects):
- CHEM101: Introductory Chemistry I (Introductory Physical and General Chemistry)
- CHEM102: Introductory Chemistry II (Structure and Reactivity of Molecules for Life)
- CHEM211: Inorganic Chemistry II
- CHEM212: Organic Chemistry II
- CHEM213: Molecular Structure, Reactivity and Change (Physical Chemistry)
- CHEM214: Analytical and Environmental Chemistry

- CACS101: Contemporary Creative Practice
- CACS102: Critical Frameworks in Creative Practice

My typical lesson structure is to work on target problem areas through past exam papers and practice questions. These questions allow the student to practice and actively engage in aspects that the student is having difficulty with. We cover that area thoroughly together until the student feels confident with the material.

If a student requires help outside of tutoring sessions I can be contacted via text or email and I will get back to them ASAP

"I was very lucky to work with Steph over the course of my HSC as her effective and engaging teaching techniques allowed me to greatly improve my marks and confidence in Chemistry. I was struggling in year 11 with a ranking well below average and with weekly meetings with Steph I ended my HSC with a fifth place ranking in Chemistry. Steph really knows her content and subject matter ensuring all aspects of the topic are covered. Was lovely to work with her."
