I graduated from St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls in 2011 with an ATAR of 99.95 (subjects: English literature, economics, physics, specialist mathematics, general mathematics, chemistry). I participated in several national and international science and mathematics competitions, and won the Tim Winton Award for Young Writers (upper secondary division) in 2011.

I am currently a final year postgraduate medical student at the University of Melbourne, having finished a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne in 2014, majoring in Anatomy and Neuroscience. Through my undergraduate, I took various subjects including in zoology, linguistics, and agriculture. I was recognised on the Dean's Honours List for the Bachelor of Science in 2013-2014, and the Dean's Honours List for the Doctor of Medicine in 2016.

My experience in formal teaching includes coaching prospective medical students on interview and professional communication skills. I am also a member of a number of curriculum development and evaluation committees within the Melbourne Medical School. I have been a teacher within various student-run initiatives including Teach the Teacher and the medical student-run Peer Tutoring program.

I am an avid cook, current student of the Italian language and violin, and devoted mother to my cat.

My career so far has taught me a lot about the importance and value of both learning and teaching. While I am undertaking my medical training over the next few years, I am committed to pursuing my love of teaching and sharing ideas with keen learners.

My philosophy in teaching is to emphasise "Why?" and "How?" over "What?" I hope you will find this approach helpful in achieving your goals. I look forward to hearing from you!
