Preferred Schedule
Frequency Approximately 3 mornings per week
Session length 2–3 hours per session
Time window Scheduling flexibility between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM
Academic Support
English English / Language Arts, reading and writing
Mathematics 4th-grade mathematics
Science Support with assigned science coursework
Social Studies Support with assigned social studies coursework
Primary goal Keep Benjamin on track with his existing online curriculum, review material, answer
questions, reinforce concepts and help him stay engaged and organized.
Ideal Tutor
Background Qualified teacher, former teacher, education student, or experienced primary-school tutor
preferred
Style Warm, patient, engaging, positive and able to keep an active school-aged child focused
Experience Strong experience with primary / upper-elementary-aged children
Approach This is not intensive test preparation. We want someone who can make learning enjoyable,
build confidence and provide structure while our family is traveling.

About Our Family
We are an American family temporarily living in Rose Bay. Benjamin will continue his U.S. schooling remotely while we
are in Sydney. We are looking for a dependable tutor who can become a consistent and encouraging part of his weekday
routine, helping him complete his coursework while keeping the experience positive and engaging.
