Hi! I'm Abbey, a 3rd year medical student at the University of Queensland - I completed the GAMSAT in 2020 and the medical interviews at UQ.

This is my 3rd year of MMI tutoring. I have tutored over 30 students in preparation for various medical school interviews and have received highly positive feedback from my students, with almost all receiving a final offer from their first preference. The MMI process is certainly daunting, and so I love to see my students gain confidence in their interviewing capabilities and succeed in their ambitions to gain entry into Medicine!

I can offer extensive interview advice for students interviewing at UQ, along with practice interview sessions with UQ style questions* and feedback on how to improve interview performance. I have an extensive pool of MMI practice questions along with model answers and theory based on key concepts that are assessed by all medical schools, including Medical Ethics, Indigenous Health and Rural Health.

My tutoring sessions involve:

-60 minute online Zoom session under practice MMI conditions to get you familiar and comfortable with the format of an MMI - super important before your actual interview!
-University-specific MMI questions with model answers and tailored feedback
-Advice on structuring your responses with frameworks that you can utilise in your interview
-Tips on communication style, language and tone

*Note - I'm unable to provide the specific questions I received during my MMI due to a non-disclosure agreement, however I can provide sample questions of a similar nature to ensure you're as prepared for the format of the interview as possible.
