? RAW 48 GENERAL MATHEMATICS

VCE General Mathematics 3/4
I achieved a Raw 48 in General Mathematics, but what I've spent even more time perfecting is understanding how to turn knowledge into marks when it actually matters — in SACs and exams.
I've put countless hours into analysing VCE-style questions, refining exam strategies and understanding the small differences between knowing the content and performing under pressure.

? MY SPECIALITY: SAC & EXAM PERFORMANCE
I focus heavily on helping students perform when it counts.
? SAC Strategy — understanding exactly how to approach different question types and maximise marks.
? Exam Technique — learning how to tackle unfamiliar questions, manage time and avoid the mistakes that cost easy marks.
? CAS Strategy — knowing when to use your calculator, how to use it efficiently, and how to support your working with it.
? Application Questions — moving beyond memorising procedures and learning how to recognise what VCAA is actually testing.
? Targeted Revision — focusing your time on the areas that will make the biggest difference to your result.

? WHETHER YOU'RE AHEAD OR BEHIND, THERE'S A PATH FORWARD.

Not every student starts their General Maths journey in the same place.
You might already be working towards a 40+ Study Score.
You might understand the content but struggle to convert it into SAC and exam marks.
Or you might feel like you've fallen seriously behind and have no idea how you're going to catch up.

That's where I can help!

I've spent countless hours developing strategies that allow me to identify what is holding a student back and what needs to change — whether that's a missing foundation, poor exam technique, difficulty with application questions, or simply not knowing how to prepare effectively.
Even if you're behind, there is still a way forward.

The earlier we identify the gaps and build a targeted plan, the more we can recover and aim higher!

? My goal isn't simply to teach you General Maths.
It's to help you walk into your SACs and final exams knowing exactly what to do.
From catching up → building confidence → performing under pressure → maximising your final score.
That's what I've spent my VCE experience mastering, and that's what I want to pass on to you. ??

Experience

I achieved a Raw 48 in VCE General Mathematics, placing me in the top percentile of General Mathematics students in the state.
I've been in your shoes, and I know what it takes to perform at the highest level — not just understanding the content, but knowing how to prepare, identify weaknesses, and perform under exam conditions.
At Absolute Academy, I bring that experience into everything I teach. Our Mastery OS and AMMO systems track your performance across every area of the course, helping you identify exactly what you know, what you don't, and what you need to revise next.
I don't just teach you the content. I've done it myself, and I know what it take achieve in the top ranks of any school

Qualifications

Ethan Zhang — General Mathematics
Absolute Academy completely changed the way I approached General Maths 3/4. I struggled with networks, matrices and financial mathematics at school, but the tutors made the concepts much easier to understand. The constant VCE-style practice also helped me become much faster and more confident with my CAS.

Riya Patel — Chemistry
Chemistry finally started making sense after joining Absolute Academy. The tutors don't just make you memorise reactions and definitions — they explain the concepts behind them. The SAC preparation and detailed practice questions were especially helpful for areas like equilibrium, organic chemistry and electrochemistry.

Ryan Chen — Mathematical Methods
Methods was easily my most difficult subject at school, especially calculus and probability. Absolute Academy helped me understand the actual reasoning behind the questions rather than just memorising procedures. The exam-style questions were really useful for learning how to approach unfamiliar problems.

Ananya Shah — Specialist Mathematics
Specialist Maths can be really overwhelming, but the tutors at Absolute Academy break complicated concepts down really well. Topics like vectors, complex numbers and mechanics became much more manageable. I also found the harder extension questions really useful for preparing for exams.

Jack Thompson — English
Absolute Academy completely changed the way I approached English. Instead of just telling me what to write, the tutors helped me understand how to analyse texts, develop stronger arguments and structure my essays under time pressure. The individual feedback made a huge difference to my writing.

Chloe Wang — General Mathematics
I used to lose marks in General Maths because I would rush through questions or use the wrong method. The tutors helped me become much more systematic, especially with statistics, networks and financial mathematics. The small classes also meant I could ask questions whenever I was stuck.

Arjun Sharma — Chemistry
The biggest improvement for me was learning how to actually answer VCE Chemistry questions. I understood the content but struggled to apply it to unfamiliar situations. The tutors taught me how to interpret the wording, use the data provided and structure my responses properly.

Sophie Williams — Mathematical Methods
The Methods program has been incredibly helpful, particularly for calculus and functions. We constantly practise different question types, which has helped me recognise what a question is testing much faster. The exam preparation has also made me much more confident with extended-response questions.

Daniel Huang — Specialist Mathematics
Before Absolute Academy, I found Specialist Maths extremely difficult to keep up with. The tutors are really good at taking complicated concepts and breaking them into smaller steps. The extra exam-style questions on vectors, complex numbers and proof have helped me improve significantly.

Kavya Iyer — English
English was always a subject where I knew what I wanted to say but struggled to put it into a high-scoring essay. Absolute Academy helped me improve my analysis, evidence selection and essay structure. The feedback on my writing was probably the most useful part for me.

Liam Anderson — General Mathematics
The General Maths classes are very focused on VCE performance. Lauren helped me work through everything from matrices and networks to recursion, statistics and financial mathematics. I especially like that we're constantly given harder questions rather than only practising the basic textbook examples.”**

Priya Nair — Chemistry
Chemistry became much less stressful once I started at Absolute Academy. Zahra was really good at connecting different parts of the course instead of teaching everything as separate topics. The regular practice with calculations, theory and extended-response questions has improved my confidence a lot.

Olivia Martin — Mathematical Methods
I joined Absolute Academy because I wanted to push my Methods mark higher, and the difference has been noticeable. The tutors focus heavily on understanding rather than memorising, and the amount of practice with unfamiliar exam questions has helped me become much more confident.”**

Aarav Gupta — Specialist Mathematics
The Specialist Maths tutors are extremely knowledgeable and don't shy away from difficult questions. We regularly work through challenging problems involving vectors, mechanics, complex numbers and calculus. It has helped me move beyond simply knowing the content and actually apply it to difficult exam questions.

Emily Wilson — English
What I like most about Absolute Academy is that the English classes are actually personalised. The tutors identify exactly what is holding your writing back and give you specific ways to improve. I've become much better at writing under timed conditions and developing a sophisticated argument.
