Melbourne tutor in Politics

Get ahead of the content this summer and enter Year 12 confident, prepared and one step ahead!

Hi, I'm Ahmad Rehman, a dedicated VCE Politics tutor and Caulfield Grammar School graduate. I achieved a raw 49 study score in VCE Politics, ranked #1 in my school and graduated with a 98.7 ATAR.

Since graduating, I've continued to develop my understanding of Politics through university-level Australian Politics subjects at the University of Melbourne. This has strengthened my knowledge of political systems, institutions and contemporary political issues, allowing me to bring deeper insights and more sophisticated analysis into my tutoring, while keeping everything focused on the VCE Study Design and assessment requirements.

☀️ SUMMER 2026–27 HEAD-START PROGRAM – ENROLMENTS NOW OPEN!

With Year 12 fast approaching, I'm offering a structured summer head-start program for students studying VCE Politics Units 3 & 4 in 2027.

Politics is a content-heavy subject that rewards students who understand concepts, can apply relevant case studies and know how to write precise, analytical responses under exam conditions.

My goal is simple: help you get ahead of the course before school even starts, so you can spend the year consolidating your knowledge and refining your exam technique rather than constantly trying to catch up.

Throughout the summer, we'll focus on:

• Getting ahead on content: Start learning key Unit 3 topics before they're covered at school, giving you a strong foundation for Term 1.

• Building comprehensive notes: Receive structured, detailed and easy-to-understand notes aligned with the relevant VCAA Study Design.

• Developing case study knowledge: Become familiar with contemporary political examples and learn how to apply them effectively to assessment questions.

• Mastering exam technique early: Learn how to approach "explain", "discuss", "evaluate", "compare" and "to what extent" questions using high-scoring response structures.

• Preparing for SACs in advance: Practice SAC-style questions and analytical responses before the pressure of Year 12 assessments begins.

• Building confidence: Enter 2027 already understanding important concepts, terminology and expectations.
