I specialise in teaching English at the Primary, Lower and Middle High School, Senior High School, and College levels. Additionally, my proficiency extends to teaching social sciences from Middle High School through Senior High School and into College.

Experience

I’m currently studying Cybersecurity at UNSW and have over 3 years of tutoring experience helping students across English, humanities, psychology, and essay-based subjects. I graduated from Narrabundah College with a 96 ATAR and was in the top 1% for English and Psychology, which gave me a strong understanding of what high-level academic writing and analysis actually looks like in practice.

Over the years, I’ve worked with students across a wide range of ages and abilities, helping them improve not just their marks, but also their confidence, structure, and way of thinking. I specialise in making difficult concepts feel approachable and breaking down complex tasks into simple, manageable steps that students can actually apply independently.

My teaching style is very personalised and encouraging. I genuinely enjoy helping students realise they are capable of far more than they think, especially when it comes to writing and critical thinking. I focus heavily on helping students build strong foundational skills rather than memorising formulas, because confidence in learning comes from understanding how and why something works.

In a time where AI is making it easier for students to avoid practising writing and independent thinking, I think it’s more important than ever to help students develop a genuine love of learning and the ability to communicate their own ideas clearly. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students achieve strong academic results, but also to help them become more curious, capable, and confident learners long-term.

Qualifications

I am a current UNSW Canberra student. I obtained an atar of 95+ at the most academically challenging college in the ACT (Narrabundah College). I did a Double Major in English and a Minor in Psychology making me an expert in understanding the requirements of these subjects at a tertiary level. I was in the top 1% for English and Psychology last year at Narrabundah College.
