I am an academic writing specialist, researcher, and highly experienced educator with over a decade of experience supporting high school and university students across the Arts and Social Sciences. I hold a PhD in Gender and Cultural Studies and have tutored and lectured at the University of Sydney for over eight years, alongside more than six years teaching English in Sydney’s leading tutoring school.

Alongside my academic teaching, I also work in policy and research roles, contributing to projects in gender equality and social policy. I am an active writer and researcher, with book and scholarly projects in progress. This background allows me to bring together academic expertise, applied research experience, and advanced professional writing skills in my work with students.

I support students through the full writing process — from developing ideas and research strategies, through to drafting, revising, and refining their work. I help students produce persuasive, clearly written, and sophisticated academic writing that directly addresses assessment criteria and marking standards.

I adhere to strict ethical standards and will never write work for students. My role is to teach, guide, edit, and coach students to become stronger, more independent writers and thinkers.

I am known as a supportive, encouraging, and highly engaged tutor who takes students’ academic development seriously. I work particularly well with high-achieving students, honours and postgraduate researchers, and students working on major projects who want to strengthen their writing at a deeper level.

All sessions are conducted online via Zoom. My rates include preparation and written feedback. I also offer asynchronous editing, proofreading, and written feedback for students who prefer non-contact support.

• If you need to reschedule a session, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
• Payment is required 24 hours prior to each scheduled session.
• Cancellations within 24 hours, or non-attendance, are not eligible for a refund.
• My rates include preparation time and written feedback where relevant.

2024–present: Policy Practitioner
I work in policy and project roles focused on gender equality and community safety, contributing to research, policy development, and projects related to women, family and community safety.

2023–2023: Consultant – University of Sydney (PIP, Society & Culture)
Consultant for the University of Sydney’s Personal Interest Project (PIP) consultation program, supporting high school students with research design, academic writing, and extended project development.

2015–2022: Tutor & Lecturer – University of Sydney
Sessional academic in Gender and Cultural Studies. Teaching has included undergraduate and postgraduate units such as Youth and Youth Culture, Intimacy, Love and Friendship, and Gender, Media and Consumer Societies. Responsibilities include lecturing, tutoring, marking, student support, and curriculum delivery.
