I am a VIT registered teacher in Victoria and offer expert tuition as a chemical education professional with extensive experience in industrial and research chemistry. I have over 20 years experience in private tutoring as well as teaching primary school aged students through to university students as a professional lecturer/tutor. I have gained invaluable teaching tools which I apply to different learning styles so all tutoring sessions are personalised. My teaching style is simple yet effective, and I encourage students to move quickly from basic understanding to applying that knowledge to exam-style questions.

I am a VIT registered and practicing teacher in Victoria. I have privately tutored hundreds of students in science and mathematics for over 20 years. I have over four years experience in lecturing, tutoring and demonstrating laboratory practicals at university level and I have organised and instructed groups of high school aged students in forensic science and chemistry outreach programs for Deakin University. I have also designed primary school science programs and taught them in the region.

I also have over 15 years experience teaching martial arts to children, beginners and adults on a one-on-one and group basis.

Rates

$100 per hour tutoring from my home, or via Zoom.

Additional costs incurred for me to travel to you, depending on distance.

I offer bulk tutoring discounts - purchase 9 sessions, get the 10th free.

I also offer tutoring via instant messaging (text & voice messaging, with the ability to also send images, videos and dropbox links) which allows me to be more flexible with my work hours and also allows you/the student to not be tied down by tuition appointments at the same time every week. You may find that I am more expensive than many tutors on this site. I have dedicated my life to being a full-time professional chemical educator and tutor with extensive experience in research, industry and education. Some tutors offer tutoring in a variety of subjects, however I only offer tutoring in my area of expertise (Chemistry and Forensic Science), and therefore I provide an expert quality service. My rates are comparable to persons offering services like personal training and massage, for example.
