My name is Andrew Theodorakopoulos and I am an extremely passionate educator of mathematics.

I believe that all students at all levels of ability would benefit from private tutoring. Whether that be to help students obtain higher marks, or to help a student gain confidence in the mathematics classroom, private tutoring can have enormous benefits in learning. It is important that in the very first few lessons, both the student and I determine the student's goals for private tutoring and it is then my job to help them achieve what they are after.

Online tutoring can be a very effective platform for learning and it has proven to be a very effective learning experience for my students in the past. I am also happy to make myself available even outside of tutoring hours should the student have a quick question to ask me over a text/email.

My approach in tutoring is usually to provide extra assistance in what you are covering in class at that moment. It is best to private the consolidation and support for the work you are doing in class rather than something completely different.

If you are a year 12 student in General Maths, my approach is more of the same but with a bigger focus on exam questions and helping you achieve the highest possible study score.

Tutored online at Year 10, 11 and 12 over the last 3 years.
I tutor online and it is just as effective as tutoring in person. I share resources with students and ensure that I am contactable for any questions that they have even outside of tutoring hours.

Qualifications

I have a Bachelor of Science (Statistics) and a Master of Teaching (Secondary)
