Experience

I have been teaching English as a Second Language for 30 years in various countries and universities in South Australia, ranging from Academic English to General to Business English. I have also tutored privately intermittently over this time. I was an IELTS Examiner for 8 years and ran my own private tutoring business the Adelaide IELTS Training Centre for five years during that time. In my previous role at Centre English Language University of South Australia (CELUSA)
where I was for 13 years, I was responsible for the delivery, planning, assessment, marking and feedback delivery as well as ongoing content development of Academic English courses for students to enter their chosen Academic pathway at the University of South Australia. I have passion and enthusiasm for teaching and imparting my knowledge with kindness and patience and I am warm and engaging in my private teaching performance. I understand the importance of creating a bond and listening carefully to the students' needs and making adjustments if necessary. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you learn!
