Hi language learners!

I'm Char, originally from Xi'an (home city of the Terracotta Warriors), China, a patient and innovative Mandarin Chinese and ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher with 10 years experience in language teaching/tutoring.

My previous and current students range from early year primary schoolers, senior high school exam takers, to adults learning for immigration & travel purposes. The most common words they used to describe me are: innovative, approachable, trustworthy.

I'm skilled in Differentiated Teaching, Interest-oriented Learning Facilitation and Culture-based Approaches. High scorer of IELTS (8.5 - obtained 2020).
