11 Years High School teaching experience focused on HSC, Cambridge and NCEA Chemistry and Biology as well as junior general science. With a personable, articulate nature and thorough knowledge of syllabus requirements I guarantee, with my help, you will come to love and understand what is required of you for your exams and assessments I believe that a key to success for students is getting them motivated and believing they can achieve their potential.
I like to start by some means of formative assessment to determine their level of understanding and build on it step by step, so students feel success and are able to apply their increasing knowledge to relevant questions based on their science curriculum. Generally like to work with students for 1.5 hours at a time to cover a substantial amount of content and leave students with work to complete before the next session. Happy to help with exam style study or with depth studies / projects. I have a wide range of resources and a solid understanding of the level of knowledge required at each level. I’m able to clearly and effectively communicate science and chemistry content in a fun and relevant way, and help students with study tools and application of their learning.
