Bonjour cher étudiant de français,
My name is Claire, I am a high school French native teacher, I moved to Australia 15 years ago.
I have been working with students over the past 10 years, from l'Alliance Française, to various language schools, to now being Head of Languages in a high school located in Bayside.
I teach French from Year 7 to Year 12 and I specialise in teaching VCE French. I have also been a VCAA assessor for the oral French exam over the past 3 years.
I have been teaching VCE for over 7 years now and I have an excellent understanding of the new study design. From multimodal text response (in your SACs and end of year exam) to the new format of the oral exam at the end of year, there are new set of skills to learn.
I understand the challenges of being a French student, especially when you have to speak French for 15 minutes at the end of the year exam. It is pretty scary, let's be honest!
This is where I come in an help you to achieve your best potential. I am here to help you to build your self-confidence in the French language. Depending on your learning needs, I will create and tailor lessons around you and what you want to achieve. I want you to do the best you can during your SACs and end of year exams and I will aim to give you all the tools to be as successful as possible during this final year.

Please note that I am available for online lessons only in order to provide a greater flexibility around your schedule.
I am available for 1/1 session and small group (2 students max) sessions, because I understand sometimes it's better to improve your French with a friend :)
