Hello!

My specialisations are in art, English and media studies.

I'm a freelance illustrator with a degree in design (majoring in illustration), studies in narratology (stories and storytelling), media studies and game design.

Art-wise, I have experience in comic work, traditional media, digital media, portraits, landscape, concept work, storyboarding, life drawing and more. For English and media studies, I am experienced in editing, storytelling, communication studies, literature analysis, essay writing and cultural critique, as well as teaching the fundamentals of reading, writing and speaking.

Aside from tutoring one-on-one for a few years, I also worked at a weekend school for a little over four years where I mostly worked with children aged 7-15. I also ran a series of workshops where I taught classes of around 12-15 people with ages ranging from 11-40+. I'm experienced in working with a variety of demographics and ability levels, including students where English is a second language.

Lesson structure is determined according to your short and long-term goals, learning style and preferences. Everything is taken into account and personalised, and I'll also provide a shared google document where we can share notes, images, questions and plans.

I am generally available during the week between 11am - 5pm, and am most easily contacted via email.

Hello! I've been tutoring for about eight years now, four of those years with St. James College (a weekend tutoring service that focused on math, English and science) in Perth. I also ran a short series of creative workshops last year for Story Street (run by Lotterywest) in Perth.

Rates

$40 per hour, or $70 for two hours.

If there are two students in the same session, $30 per hour per student
If there are three or more students in the same session, $25 per hour per student
