Tutoring in mathematics, all levels (primary, secondary & uni./TAFE). Other subjects (ESL, IELTS, science, etc.) may be arranged.

I am available weekends, and afternoons/evenings on weekdays.

I am a qualified engineer, and a native speaker of English.

My mode of operation is to explain concepts the student is stuck on, or is not completely grasping. I will demonstrate first, then the student and I will work through together, and finally the student is encouraged to attempt for themself, under my supervision.

Rates

Total fee = $75/hour + Travel fee + Tertiary fee.


Tertiary fee:
* Primary/Secondary school: NO EXTRA CHARGE
* College/TAFE: add $5/hour.
* Undergrad. uni.: add $10/hour.

Travel fee:
* NO EXTRA CHARGE for Meadowbank or neighbouring suburbs within 20 min (including Macquarie University and Western Sydney University).
* add $10-or-more per _session_ for more distant locales (by prior arrangement).

Multiple students in session: NO EXTRA CHARGE for two students in a session.
Three, four or more students in a session can be arranged by negotiation.

Cancellation policy:
No penalty for cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice, or with a medical certificate.
If cancelling at short notice without mitigating factor, a fee equal to half the hourly rate plus the full travel fee will be payable.

Lateness policy:
Billing starts from the agreed appointment time. For example, if you are ten minutes late, then you still have to pay for my time waiting for you.
Being more than 20 minutes late will be counted as a cancellation.

Payment terms: cash only, unless by prior arrangement.
