About me and what I offer:
Hi, I'm Dillon! I graduated with an ATAR of 99.70 from Narrabundah College in 2019 and am now in my final year of the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery at ANU. I also hold a Bachelor of Health Science from ANU (7 GPA).

Having grown up in the ACT, I'm well-versed in the local mathematics syllabus. With over 9 years of teaching experience, I’ve tutored students from various ACT schools, including Narrabundah College, Radford College, and Gungahlin College. I offer individual and group tutoring in:

My tutoring approach:
I believe that mastering mathematics is akin to mastering the sciences—it requires a strong conceptual foundation. Unlike traditional school methods that often focus on repetitive exercises, I prioritize ensuring students deeply understand mathematical concepts before progressing to computational exercises. This approach empowers students to confidently transfer their skills to both standard problems and challenging, problem-solving-based questions.

A key element of my method is pre-learning, where students engage with course material before it is taught in school. This enables class time in school to be used for consolidating understanding and refining skills while also providing students with extra time to familiarise themselves with content before exams. Having tutored for nearly a decade, I have accumulated a wealth of resources, including multiple textbooks, past exams, and customised mock exams that I tailor to each student’s needs.
