Hi, I’m Em - a Wellbeing and Educational Coach with over 30 years of experience helping students thrive both in and out of the classroom. I’m more than just a teacher - I help young people build the skills, confidence, and mindset they need to learn well, feel well, and live well.

With a background as a senior teacher and former Head of Biology at Welbeck Abbey (The Army VIth Form College, UK), I bring deep experience in teaching upper primary through to senior school Science, Biology, Chemistry, and general studies. My approach combines high-quality academic support with coaching strategies that nurture resilience, organisation, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.

I work with students from upper primary (supporting NAPLAN, Maths, English, Science, Geography & History) through to high school and TAFE (specialising in Science and Biology).

I’m passionate about helping every learner reach their potential by:

Building strong study and organisational skills

Developing emotional regulation and resilience

Supporting smooth transitions through school and adolescence

Encouraging curiosity and a love of learning

Fostering confidence in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths (STEAM)

Each session is tailored to the individual — meeting students where they’re at, understanding how they learn best, and helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

As an individual with high personal standards and expectations I promote a similar expectation for aiming high in my students.
