These are my top priorities:
1.Clear communication with parents to build trust and boost students' confidence.
2.Many students struggle with problem-solving even when they “know everything” — they’re often just a few steps away from the solution. I focus on helping them build the bridge between knowledge and application, rather than relying on rote memorization.

Experience

Many students believe they’re “just not good at math, ” but in reality, poor grades usually come from ineffective learning methods, not a lack of intelligence. High school math isn't inherently difficult; the real challenge lies in how the content is learned and organized.

The most efficient and brain-friendly way to learn is by building a mental “tree” of concepts. This means connecting ideas in a logical, structured way rather than cramming isolated formulas. Since I began tutoring VCE and NSW math in April 2024, I’ve helped students use this method to achieve results they once thought were impossible. My approach focuses not only on improving grades, but also on reshaping how students think and learn for long-term success.
