Hi, I’m Jeff – Your Personal Tutor for Cantonese, Maths, VCE Accounting, Business, Economics, Foundation Maths, Maths Methods and Japanese!

I’m originally from Hong Kong and have been living in Melbourne since 2008. As a native Cantonese speaker, I’m passionate about helping learners speak fluent Cantonese — from everyday conversations to unique local expressions.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in International Business and Professional Accounting. I also studied Japanese at Monash University during my undergraduate years and successfully obtained the JLPT N2 certificate, demonstrating my advanced proficiency. With both academic training and cultural experience, I can confidently support your Japanese learning — whether you're a beginner or preparing for exams.

I completed my Master of Teaching at Deakin University in 2025 and am now a qualified teacher with VIT registration and having a valid Working With Children Check. This professional journey has greatly enhanced my understanding of pedagogy and diverse learning needs. It has equipped me to design lessons that are not only academically rigorous but also engaging, inclusive, and responsive to each learner. I apply these skills in my tutoring by tailoring every session to suit each student’s individual strengths, challenges, and learning goals.
