My name is Jess, I am an experienced tutor, having supported over 40 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 across a range of subjects including Maths, Science, and English.

I am currently in my final year of a Master’s of teaching and work as a casual teacher, giving me up-to-date classroom experience and a strong understanding of the curriculum.

I provide individualised, flexible lessons tailored to each student’s needs, whether that’s help with homework, exam preparation, or building a deeper understanding of key syllabus concepts. My goal is to help students not only improve academically, but also grow in confidence. I offer a variety of resources to support learning.

• Primary School (K–6): All subjects
• Mathematics: Years 7–10
• English: Years 7–10
• Science: Years 7–10
• Geography: Years 7–12
I also have experience working with young children (from age 4) to support school readiness and early learning foundations.

I am a casual primary school teacher with 5 years of experience as a private tutor, I’ve supported many students in building confidence, strengthening their skills, and feeling more positive about learning.

Qualifications

I am in the final year of a masters of teaching program and have approval to teach with NESA, as well as a Working with Children Check.

Rates

I charge $40 an hour and can tutor you at your house (rates may change if there is a
distance greater than 20km and depending on how many students you want tutored.)
